Click to read my interview on Our Young Art!

Many, many months ago, I connected with a digital periodical that focused on art created by people aged 25 and younger, titled appropriately, Our Young Art.  I found the content to be solid, well-thought-out, well-sourced, and the overarching concept of capturing what appeared to me to be “an appealing, raw quality to the art of the still fresh and less experienced.”  When I expressed this in my submission to the site in hopes they would share what was back then a very new portfolio with a lot of growth taking place (there still is), Paige, Our Young Art’s editor, got curious and asked me to expand upon the idea.  So instead of a conventional interview, the resulting piece was more of a memoir or a reflection on the way I’ve chosen to position myself, as a creative entity unbound by specification or application.  Read more about what I call the “multi-faceted creative,” a largely younger generation of people who express their ideas through whatever medium they see fit, regardless of prior experience, and what I think about the present state and future of this movement.
