This is my newest DJ mix, and my fifth released as Alex / HeadUp.  It’s also my first serious attempt at creating a set with all fresh, new tracks and which all transition naturally.  It’s a selection of my favorite tracks from the summer of 2009.  A deep, dubby hour of house and techno, ideal for starting or finishing your night.  Elements of deep, jazzy, tech and dub come together to create a diverse and exciting mix.

Tracks all seem to match up naturally, the set was first practiced with and recorded live multiple times before I got it the way I want it, but I must say I’m pretty satisfied with the end result and I really hope listeners are too.  You may have seen many of these tracks posted here on Blog.H34, so you know I think these tracks are all a truly magnificent soundtrack to this summer!
