Heads of State: From Sea to Shining Sea
A pal from work, sent me a link this morning to these awesome posters by The Heads of State, Philadelphia-based (woo-hoo!) Jason Kernevich and Dustin Summers. It’s part of the print series, “From Sea to Shining Sea,” a collection of travel posters that beautifully depict cities across America in beautiful combinations of just three to six expertly-chosen colors. As a longtime fan of early and mid century travel posters, I have to say it’s refreshing to see a modern look being taken at this classic style. Their design portfolio is very good, check it out if you like what you see.

Mid century for the win! The Seattle poster is in my opinion the most refreshing piece on there. However, they did forget to add rain drops.
