Just figured I would share a few videos that feature kinetic typography in motion graphics. Having just been introduced to formal learning of the practice of modern motion graphics, specifically animation using After Effects, it’s been something of an uphill journey for me– the video realm is an awkward place to try to impose a typographic grid, but with a little extra patience it can really start to click…and click some more…clicking incessantly…oh, sorry, that was just the sound of my mouse clicking away, rotoscoping is the devil. Anyway, I will eventually post up the final project for my class; in the meantime, here are some examples that have inspired me to keep chugging along.

This was for a HW assignment for the class, to give you an idea of what I’ve been working on. I feel like I’ve been spending a whole lot of time in After Effects, stay tuned for more of my recent output. Got any favorite or relevant examples of type in motion?
