Arrival Timestamp Prints on Blanka

Stumbled across these amazing posters on Blanka, yet another image gallery/archive to drain more of my time gawking in astonishment.  They were created by Arrival, a small design studio based in Dublin, Ireland.  Love these colors and the way they are sequenced, but the idea behind these designs is equally intriguing when you take a closer look.  The following is from the explanation at Arrival’s website:

“Unix time is a system for describing points in time, defined as the number of seconds elapsed since the Unix Epoch – midnight Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) January 1st, 1970. Any point in time can be converted into its running second total. On Friday 13th February 2009 at 23:31:30 Unix Time will reach 1234567890. We created the Unix Time Stamp series of prints to mark this event and other key calendar dates in 2009.”

There are four different prints in an extremely limited press of 25 each, available through Blanka.  If I had some money to spare, I’d snatch it up in a second.
