Multicolr: Amazing Color Similarity App
My friend Catarina had this on her blog and it was just too cool to pass up sharing here…this is too much. It’s a clever little app called Multicolr. A company called Idée took 10 million of the most visually appealing images from Flickr’s creative commons and mapped them to a 12×10 color grid. It’s an example of their Piximilar multicolor image searching technology, pretty impressive I must say. The combo I chose above is supposed to vaguely complement the color scheme here at Blog.H34, but there are an almost endless number of combonations, as you can chose multiple colors to your heart’s content. On a side note, my friend and former colleague Catarina is a brilliant developer, gotta love the nice, clean layout of her blog, you can tell it runs clean as a whistle under the hood too!
