The prints are finally in!  The crew over at VGKids did a knock-up job, the prints are substantial to hold and touch, they do an excellent job of showing off the texture from my original design.  What’s more, VGK was nice enough to include quite a few extra prints in my order, so as you can see in the pictures above, I will now be offering two versions– the originally planned limited run, and a super-limited run of only 25, delicately tea-stained by hand for even more texture and character.  My friend Amanda was nice enough to take these photos and help her sans-SLR pal, she is also a really awesome DJ called Modesta, check out her latest set on Percussion Lab!

This coming week I am going to be finalizing a few last-minute things on my end, determining shipping materials and shipping costs (including int’l to Brazil, France, UK, Germany etc.), and testing out my storefront for launch.  Here’s the plan: I want to have everything ready to go Oct. 5th, those who left the first 100 comments in my original post will get an email with a password to access the store for a week, as well as a little discount.  As I said before, limit one per customer, make sure you include the email address you left the comment under, as I will be checking them off, any orders that don’t match up will be declined (sorry!!).

After one week on October 12th, the ones left over (and there will be leftovers, if only just a few) will be made available when I take the password off the store and open it up to the public.  So, to the folks who have been leaving more recent comments asking, who weren’t in the first 100 comment-leavers, you will have a chance to grab one.  I am already planning a run for 2010, even though it’s a ways out (it will be here in no time, trust me).
